Reclaiming Health the Way Nature Intended
Welcome to the beginning of something that’s been a long time coming — a return to the roots of what it means to live well.
This blog is where I’ll be sharing my thoughts, practices, and experiments at the intersection of ancestral wisdom and modern science. I’m not a doctor, guru, or influencer. I’m someone who believes that real health is both simple and sacred — and it starts by reconnecting with what our bodies have always known.
For me, that journey is grounded in two powerful ideas:
🥩 Food is medicine.
☀️ Light is information.
Let’s start with food.
I follow a low-carb, animal-based diet rich in protein, healthy fats, and whole, unprocessed foods. I believe in fueling my body the way it was designed to be fueled: with nutrient-dense meats, seasonal foods, and zero refined junk. It’s not about restriction — it’s about nourishment. This is often called keto, carnivore, or “proper human diet” — I just call it real food.
But nutrition is only one piece.
I also care deeply about circadian biology — how our body responds to the cycles of the sun and Earth. Modern life has pulled us out of sync with nature, and it’s showing up in our sleep, hormones, metabolism, and mental health.
🌅 I watch the sunrise everyday.
🥓 I eat a protein rich breakfast within one hour of waking.
☀️ I get UVA light every morning.
🌙 I block blue light at night after sunset.
I believe sunlight is not the enemy — it’s essential. Sunrise, UVA light and UVB light trigger hormonal cascades that regulate everything from cortisol and vitamin D production to mood and energy. That’s why I spend time outdoors, without sunglasses or sunscreen, whenever I can.
Water matters, too. I drink clean, filtered water (shoutout to my Berkey), and I remineralize it using Sole water that I make at home. I’ve also started using a structuring device to re-energize my water — because yes, I believe water has memory, and that the quality of what we drink affects how we feel.
And I pay attention to the small (but powerful) things:
👣 Grounding barefoot outside.
🌱 Avoiding chemicals on my skin and in my environment.
🌿 Living in rhythm with the seasons.
🧠 Remembering that healing is holistic — physical, emotional, and spiritual.
This blog will be a place where I share what I’m learning, loving, testing, and questioning. If you’re someone who’s curious about a different way to live — one that’s slower, simpler, and more aligned with biology and the Earth — you’re in the right place.
Let’s get back to what it means to feel good in our bodies again. Not with hacks and trends, but with time-tested principles and a bit of science-backed curiosity.
Welcome to the journey.
